Ingredients

  • 400g pork mince
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp (Wagamama does a good one) sweet chilli dipping sauce
  • a small handful coriander, chopped
  • 3 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • sunflower oil
  • 4 ciabatta rolls, halved and lightly toasted
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced

Method

  • STEP 1

    Mix together the pork, onion, garlic, sweet chilli sauce, coriander, breadcrumbs and egg yolk in a bowl with your hands. Season and form into 4 burgers.

  • STEP 2

    Fry the burgers in 1 tbsp oil for 5-6 minutes each side over a medium heat, or until cooked through. Arrange each burger on a ciabatta base, top with sliced tomatoes, red onion and a little more sweet chilli sauce to serve.
