Sausage Skewers Recipe with Harissa and Honey

Harissa-honey sausage skewers

Check out these honey glazed cocktail sausages with harissa. These quick and easy skewers are super simple to make and ready in just 30 minutes, a perfect side to your summer bbq



  • vegetable oil for frying
  • cocktail sausages 30
  • clear honey 2 tbsp
  • rose harissa 1 tbsp
  • orange juice 1 tbsp
  • ground cinnamon ½ tsp


  • Step 1

    Soak 15 small wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes or use metal skewers.

  • Step 2

    Heat a little oil in a heavy frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the sausages and cook, turning until browned and completely cooked through.

  • Step 3

    Mix the honey, rose harissa, orange juice and cinnamon with a good seasoning of sea salt. Pour 1/2 of the mixture over the sausages in the pan and cook for a further minute until sticky. Skewer the sausages then serve with the left-over glaze as a dip.
