On Sunday 29th March, 2 – 4:30pm, Dishoom will host a joyful event for all the family at Lewis Cubitt Square – opposite their King’s Cross restaurant. The annual festival, rooted in Hindu legend, celebrates subverting traditional rules, forgiving past transgressions and breaking down social barriers. Ticket holders will be invited to try traditional Indian drinks, enjoy lively music and, of course, will be given plenty of gulal, the emblematic coloured Holi powder, to join in with messy colour-play.
A mini street food market will provide a delicious range of food. At Pizza Pilgrims guests can buy from our favourite London pizza stall. Rotli Crew will be serving their name-sake rotli flatbreads with homemade pickles, whilst Horn OK Please will be dishing out dosas and bhel puri. Fabulous cakes will also be available from Lily Vanilli.
As an exhilarating festival, verging on temporary madness, this is an event not to be missed. You will leave full, happy and more colourful than you’ve ever been before. Tickets are £15 for adults, £8 for children and are available to buy online from Dishoom’s website from 9th March at 9:30am. Last year’s event sold out on the first day so get online quick!
