These peri peri prawns are quick and easy to make and are under 300 caloires

Ingredients

  • red chilli 1, finely chopped
  • lime 1, juiced
  • garlic ½ clove, crushed
  • ground coriander ½ tsp
  • ground cinnamon a pinch
  • ground ginger ½ tsp
  • large raw peeled prawns 300g
  • oil for frying
  • crusty baguette to serve
  • soft lettuce to serve

Method

  • Step 1

    Put the first 6 ingredients in a bowl with some seasoning. Add the prawns and toss together. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan. Cook the prawns and their marinade for 3-4 minutes until pink. Serve with buttered baguette and lettuce.
