Tortilla Soup Recipe With Chilli

Chilli bean tortilla soup

This chilli bean tortilla soup is really easy to prepare and packs a punch with the addition of red chilli, avocado and radishes. We recommend shallow frying the tortilla strips to add some crunch to the soup



  • corn tortilla 1, cut into strips
olive oil
  • avocado 1/2, diced
  • coriander chopped to make a handful
  • red chilli 1, chopped
  • spring onions 2, chopped
  • radishes 2, chopped
  • bean soup 1 tub/tin


  • Step 1

    Cut the tortilla into strips and shallow fry in olive oil until crisp and golden.

  • Step 2

    Toss the avocado with a handful of chopped coriander, red chilli, spring onions, radishes and a little olive oil.

  • Step 3

    Sprinkle over hot bean soup with the crisp tortilla strips.
