Quick banana ice cream

You won't believe how quick and easy this no-churn ice-cream recipe is. There's no need to make a custard base - just blend bananas, cream and sugar and freeze.



  • ripe bananas 4, chopped into chunks
  • lemon ½, juiced
  • double cream 400ml
  • golden caster sugar 75g


  • Step 1

    Whizz everything together in a food processor.

    Pour into an ice cream maker and churn, or pour into a freezer-proof box and freeze, stirring every 2 hours until the mixture solidifies.
