Cointreau and saffron gin give an orange hue to this punchy martini. This simple spiced cocktail recipe comes from London's Soho restaurant, Gunpowder

  • 50ml saffron gin
  • 15ml Cointreau
  • 15ml Martini Bianco
  • 1 maraschino cherry, plus 1 tsp of juice from the jar


  • STEP 1
    Pour the gin, Cointreau and Martini Bianco into a mixing glass and stir everything together to combine.
  • STEP 2
    Add the maraschino cherry juice and stir again.
  • STEP 3
    Drop the maraschino cherry into a coupe glass and pour over the cocktail.
