Try this strawberry mousse then check out our raspberry mousse, chocolate mousse, white chocolate mousse and vegan chocolate mousse.

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 50g golden caster sugar
  • 300g strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 150ml double cream, softly whipped

Method

  • STEP 1

    Tip the strawberries into a small blender or food processor and whizz to a puree.

  • STEP 2

    Whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks, then whisk in the sugar to make a glossy meringue. Fold the cream into the egg whites followed by the strawberry purée, making sure to leave a few swirls. Spoon into glasses and chill for a couple of hours before serving.
