Gnocchi Bake with Broccoli and Cheese

This recipe for baked gnocchi with broccoli, blue cheese and walnuts is really easy and ready in under an hour - perfect for a midweek meal. Blue cheese is lovely in this, but you can adapt it to suit cheeseboard leftovers if you like

Ingredients

  • gnocchi 500g
  • tenderstem broccoli 200g
  • dolcelatte or creamy blue cheese 150g, crumbled
  • single cream 150ml pot

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 190C/fan 170C/gas 5. Heat a large pan of salted water to boiling. Cook the gnocchi following pack instructions then scoop out and drain. Cook the broccoli in the same water until just tender then drain.

  • Step 2

    Put the gnocchi, broccoli, cheese and cream in a bowl. Season well and stir together then tip into a buttered ovenproof dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbling. Serve with salad.
