This creamy and delicious cauliflower cheese pie is the perfect thing to warm you up in the winter months and is quick and easy enough to make midweek

  • crème fraîche  200ml tub
  • mature cheddar 100g grated
  • spring onions 4, shredded
  • cauliflower  1 head, cut into small florets
  • frozen peas  100g, defrosted
  • ready-rolled puff pastry 1 sheet, 4 circles cut out to fit your dishes
  • egg 1, beaten


  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Mix the crème fraîche, cheddar, spring onions, cauliflower and peas and divide between 4 small ovenproof dishes. Top with the pastry circles, press down firmly and glaze with the egg. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crisp and golden.
