  • 150g plain flour, whizzed in a food processor with
  • 75g chilled and diced unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp demerara sugar
  • 500g cherries, stoned and tossed with 3 tbsp caster sugar and 4 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp flaked almonds


  • STEP 1

    Heat the oven to 180c/fan 160c/gas 4. Stir the oats, almonds and demerara sugar into the flour mix.

  • STEP 2

    Put the cherries into 4 individual ovenproof dishes or cups, then top with crumble mix.
    Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
