Ingredients

  • 350g wholemeal fusilli
  • 250g tenderstem broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic
, crushed
  • 4 anchovies in olive oil, chopped
  • a pinch chilli flakes
  • olive oil
  • grated parmesan, to serve (optional)

Method

  • STEP 1

    Put all the ingredients except the parmesan in a wide, shallow pan with 4 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt and 950ml water.

  • STEP 2

    Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, covered, stirring regularly, until the pasta is tender and the cooking liquid has become saucy.

  • STEP 3

    Serve with parmesan, if you like.
