Ingredients

  • 1 rasher smoked back bacon, chopped
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 50g frozen peas
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 200ml vegetable stock
  • 150g straight-to-wok wheat noodles
  • Worcestershire sauce

Method

  • STEP 1

    In a pan, fry bacon for a few minutes, add the white parts of 2 sliced spring onions,frozen peas and paprika, then cook for 1 minute more.

    Step 2

    Mix cornflour with a little water to get a paste, then stir this into the pan with vegetable stock, noodles and a good splash of Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for a couple of minutes until thick and saucy, then scatter with the green parts of the spring onion.
