Spaghetti with tuna, capers and chilli

This couldn’t be easier – a great after work supper when you’re too tired to think! The only thing you need to cook is the spaghetti, then toss with the tinned tuna, capers, chilli, red onion, garlic and herbs.



  • spaghetti 400g
  • red onion 1, finely chopped
  • red chilli 2, finely chopped
  • garlic 2 cloves, crushed
  • capers 2 tbsp, rinsed and drained
  • flat-leaf parsley 2 small bunches, roughly chopped
  • lemon 1, juiced
  • tuna 2 × 185g tins in spring water, drained
  • olive oil 4 tbsp


  • Step 1

    Cook the spaghetti following the pack instructions. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl. Drain the pasta then toss everything together, season and serve.
