Ingredients
- 300g mature or cheddar
- 1-2 tsp
- 1
- a couple of good dashes Worcestershire or sauce
- 1 loaf dark or rye or sourdough or bread
- to serve fruity or chutney
extras
- 70g pancetta, cubed and fried until crisp
- from a jar 1 tbsp jalapeños, chopped
Method
- STEP 1
Mix the cheddar, mustard, egg and worcestershire sauce and season. Split in half and add jalapeños to one mix and pancetta to the other. Cut 2 long slices from the middle of your loaf and toast both sides. Spread a good layer of both mixes on each then grill until bubbling and golden. Cut into fingers and serve with the chutney.
