  • 150g salted butter
    plus extra for the tin
  • 3 tbsp golden syrup
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 200g milk chocolate
  • 2 (32g each) Crunchie bars
  • a handful (about 25g) mini marshmallows
  • 200g digestive biscuits
    broken into pieces
  • a handful (about 30g) raisins

Method

  • step 1

    Heat the butter, syrup and both chocolates in a small pan over a gentle heat until melted and combined. Tip into a large bowl and leave to cool for 10 minutes.

  • step 2

    Lightly butter and line a 20cm brownie tin with baking parchment. Put the Crunchie bars into a bowl and bash with the end of a rolling pin until broken into small pieces. Add to the bowl of cooled chocolate with the marshmallows, digestives and raisins and mix everything together well.

  • step 3

    Tip into the tin and level out. Chill for at least a few hours then cut into 12 pieces.
