
One-pot tomato and basil pasta

Ingredients
- 350g linguine
- 250g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cloves garlic, very thinly sliced
- 1 onion, very thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- a good pinch chilli flakes
- 4 sprigs basil
Method
- STEP 1
Put all the ingredients into a large saucepan, in the listed order, with 1 tsp salt, a grind of black pepper and 900ml water.
- STEP 2
Cook for 15 minutes over a medium heat, stirring regularly until the pasta is cooked and the cooking water has reduced to a sauce.
