Try this recipe for baked feta with cherry tomatoes, then check out our baked feta pasta, baked feta with chilli and baked feta with pomegranate and tomatoes.

  • olive oil
  • 200g cherry tomatoes
    halved
  • 200g block feta or vegetarian alternative
    halved
  • 4 slices sourdough
  • 1 clove garlic
    halved
  • a drizzle balsamic vinegar
  • a few leaves oregano
    picked and chopped
  • 2 handfuls herb salad

Method

  • step 1

    Heat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Drizzle a little oil in the bottom of 2 small baking dishes, add some tomatoes, season then divide the feta on top. Top with the remaining tomatoes, season again and drizzle with more oil.

  • step 2

    Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Toast the sourdough then rub with the cut side of garlic and drizzle with a little more oil. Remove the foil from the dishes, drizzle with some balsamic and sprinkle over the oregano. Serve the baked feta with herb salad and sourdough toast.
