Lemon and black pepper prawns with orzo

Healthy way with prawns. This easy recipe pairs them with orzo pasta and rocket. Ready quickly in 20 minutes, which makes it ideal for midweek



  • black peppercorns 1 tsp, crushed
  • dill ½ small bunch, roughly chopped
  • lemon 1, zested and juiced
  • raw peeled prawns 150g
  • olive oil
  • orzo 100g
  • rocket a handful, to serve


  • Step 1

    Mix the black pepper, half the dill, lemon zest and half the lemon juice with 2 tsp oil. Pour the dressing over the prawns. Cook the orzo. Fry the prawns for 2 minutes until they are pink and cooked through. Drain the orzo and add the remaining lemon juice and dill, then stir the prawns in with the pan juices and season. Scatter with rocket leaves to serve.
