Vermouth is back in style and it's THE thing to be drinking this summer. We love Cocchi's range of vermouths, and this zesty Cocchi Americano spritz, topped up with white grapefruit juice and prosecco is perfect for summer. The spritz was originally wine with a dash of soda water, before people started adding bitters to soda, tonic and prosecco to create modern-day versions.

Ingredients

  • Cocchi Americano 60ml (£19.25/75cl, The Whisky Exchange) 
  • fresh white grapefruit juice 20ml
  • orange 2 slices
  • prosecco
  • mint 1 sprig

Method

    Step 1

    Pour all the ingredients, except the prosecco and the mint sprig, into a highball or wine glass with ice cubes. Top up with prosecco and garnish with the mint sprig.
