Roasted prawns with pil pil butter recipe

  • 24 whole shell-on prawns
  • lemon wedges

PIL PIL BUTTER

  • 75g salted butter
    softened
  • 1 garlic clove
    crushed
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp dried chilli flakes
  • handful of chopped parsley
    plus extra to serve

Method

  • step 1

    To make the butter, mash everything together and season. Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Put a small heatproof baking dish in the oven for 10 mins to heat up. Carefully take out and put the prawns in the dish with some dollops of the butter. Cook for 10 mins then baste, add a little more parsley and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over.
