Sherry flip cocktail

  • 75ml cream sherry
    (or a 50/50 mix of fino and cream sherries for a drier flavour)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp sugar syrup
  • nutmeg
    grated, to garnish

Method

  • step 1

    Put all the ingredients, except the nutmeg, in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well for at least 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled copita or coupe glass and grate over the nutmeg.
