Iced coffee is a brilliant way of keeping cool and getting your caffeine fix, but there’s no need to blow £s in coffee chains. Here’s how to make your own, it’s so simple! (You can add a splash of your favourite liqueur to make it boozy if you like!)

Ingredients

  • espresso coffee 1 capsule
  • brown sugar 1 tsp (or to taste)
  • milk a large splash
  • ice half a glass

Method

  • Step 1

    Brew a strong cafetière or espresso coffee and add the sugar while it’s still hot (otherwise the coffee tastes too bitter when cold). Add a big splash of milk, mix and pour over ice in a tall glass. Add a splash of your favourite liqueur if you like.
