New, independent London bottler The Heart Cut produces limited runs of one-off bottlings of selected single-cask and small-batch whiskies. The #6 Cotswolds Distillery bottle has the aroma of banana cake batter and tastes sweet without being too sugary, giving way to a slightly salted, dry finish (£89.50/50cl). We also tried #7 Westward Distillery, which has complex bitterness and hints of orange and passion fruit (£84/50cl).
