Established gin brand Sipsmith London is famous for its classic London Dry Gin or tangy Lemon Drizzle gin, as well as running tours of its London distillery. The Sipsmith Sipping Society is its subscriber club, sending out unique and seasonal gins made exclusively for members – a chance to experiment with fun flavours from an acclaimed brand. The subscription operates bi-monthly and delivers 2 x 200ml bottles of surprise small-batch gins and gin liqueurs to its members.

The Sipsmith Sipping Society stood out from other gin deliveries for its beautiful packaging – the gins arrived in a signature gold-embossed green box (definitely one to keep and reuse), whilst detailed descriptive tasting notes and four beautifully shot cocktail recipes come on luxurious cards in an envelope with a wax seal. This adds a real sense of mystery and exclusivity to the experience.

The gins in the boxes are available exclusively to the Sipping Society and even as a member they are limited edition so if you particularly love any, there is no chance to rebuy. Our box contained a Peach Melba Gin Liqueur (32% ABV) and Mad Hatter’s Gin – previous releases have included Banana Bread Gin, Toasted Marshmallow Gin Liqueur or Sriracha and Mint Gin Liqueur. The peach liqueur is described as ‘dessert in a bottle’, with a suggested cocktail of a Peach White Cargo made from the liqueur, vanilla ice cream and chardonnay. The Mad Hatter’s Gin, made to celebrate 155 years since Alice in Wonderland was published, is lightly floral, with lime peel and orange blossom infused for a touch of fruitiness.
