Ingredients
- penne pasta 200g
- unsmoked bacon 6 slices, cut into pieces
- olive oil for frying
- garlic 1 clove, finely chopped
- frozen peas 100g
- lemon 2 tbsp juice
- parmesan 50g
Method

Step 1
Cook the pasta according to packet instructions. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in 1 tbsp oil for around 5-6 minutes until crisp and golden. Scoop out and drain on kitchen roll.

Step 2
Fry the garlic and peas in the bacon oil for a few minutes then add the lemon juice, drained pasta and bacon. Serve in bowls with parmesan shavings.
