Stir-fried beef with chives and cashews

Ingredients
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp honey
- 1cm piece ginger, cut into match sticks
- 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced into thin segments
- oil
- 300g beef steak strips (or cut your own)
- 1 handful cashew nuts
- 1 bunch chives, halved
- to serve steamed rice
Method
- STEP 1
Mix the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic. Fry the onion in a little oil for 2 minutes, add the beef strips, season well and stir for a minute. Add the soy mixture and stir-fry for another minute, then add the cashew nuts and chives. Stir and serve over rice.
