Ingredients

  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1cm piece ginger, cut into match sticks
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced into thin segments
  • oil
  • 300g beef steak strips (or cut your own)
  • 1 handful cashew nuts
  • 1 bunch chives, halved
  • to serve steamed rice

Method

  • STEP 1

    Mix the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic. Fry the onion in a little oil for 2 minutes, add the beef strips, season well and stir for a minute. Add the soy mixture and stir-fry for another minute, then add the cashew nuts and chives. Stir and serve over rice.
