Artichoke Pizza Recipe with Parma Ham

Bread mixes make our kind of pizza. Quick enough to make after work, you can ditch the takeaway menu and share an Italian feast of Parma ham and artichoke. Add salad if you like on the side

Ingredients

  • olive oil
  • garlic 1 clove, sliced
  • chopped tomatoes 200g tin
  • ciabatta bread mix 250g
  • mozzarella 125g ball, sliced
  • black olives a handful
  • capers 1 tbsp, rinsed and drained
  • parma ham 3 slices, torn
  • artichoke hearts from a jar 2-3, sliced

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat the oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6. Heat a tbsp olive oil in a small pan, sizzle the garlic for a couple of minutes, then add the tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes until really thickened. Make up the dough mix following the pack instructions then roll out to a pizza base and put on a baking tray.

  • Step 2

    Spread a few tbsp of the sauce over the pizza. Top with the mozzarella, olives and capers, then lay the parma ham on one half and the artichoke hearts on the other. Bake for 20 minutes, until the base is puffed and golden and the top is bubbling.
