Chargrilled tuna with harissa and potato stew

The best way to enjoy a nice tuna steak... alongside harissa potatoes. All the ingredients are easy to get hold of and it's on the table in 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • small new potatoes 300g
  • onion 1, sliced
  • olive oil
  • harissa 2 tbsp
  • chicken stock 300ml
  • cherry tomatoes 10
  • tuna steak 2 pieces
  • coriander 1 small bunch, leaves picked

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until just tender.

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, cook the onion in 1 tbsp olive oil until soft, then stir in the harissa and stock and bring to a simmer. Halve the cooked potatoes and add to the stew with the cherry tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes until the tomatoes start to break down a little.

  • Step 3

    Oil and season the tuna then griddle for 2 minutes on each side. Stir the coriander into the stew then spoon into shallow bowls. Sit the fish on top and sprinkle with more coriander to serve.
