Wimbledon is in full swing and if you're bored of Pimms already, we've got the perfect remedy. This cocktail, brilliantly named Shandy Murray, comes from The Shrub and Shutter, a fantastic bar in Brixton that features a menu of fun, innovative cocktails using local, seasonal ingredients alongside an weekly-changing selection of bar snacks designed to be paired with the cocktails

  • 45ml El Dorado 3yo rum
  • 15ml yellow chartreuse
  • 25ml  lime juice
  • 2 tsp mint sugar
  • mint or leaves
  • to top up blonde ale


  • STEP 1

    Put the first five ingredients into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake hard for about 10 seconds. Fill a high-ball with ice and strain the cocktail into the glass. Top with the blonde ale and garnish with a couple of mint or sage leaves.
