A fast and simple idea for a stir-fry. Quick-cook method for beef with cashew nuts, chives and a homemade stir-fry sauce. Serve with rice on the side.

Ingredients

  • sesame oil 2 tsp
  • soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • honey 2 tsp
  • ginger 1cm piece, cut into match sticks
  • garlic 1 clove, sliced
  • onion 1, sliced into thin segments
  • oil
  • beef steak strips (or cut your own) 300g
  • cashew nuts 1 handful
  • chives 1 bunch, halved
  • steamed rice to serve

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix the sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic. Fry the onion in a little oil for 2 minutes, add the beef strips, season well and stir for a minute. Add the soy mixture and stir-fry for another minute, then add the cashew nuts and chives. Stir and serve over rice.
