Dry Drinker Direct Alcohol-Free Craft Beer Club review

A beer subscription with one important difference – read our full review of the Dry Drinker Direct beer club for an alcohol-free beer delivery

The last few years have seen a huge surge in low and zero-alcohol drinks, particularly when it comes to beer, where it’s now easy to find booze-free brews that rival their alcoholic counterparts (check out our pick of the best here). Dry Drinker Direct offers a huge range of alcohol-free beers, wines and spirits, and their beer club is a great way to start exploring what zero-alcohol beers you like best.

It’s straightforward to order, with two subscription options on a rolling monthly basis – a curated box of eight light and dark beers, and a vegan beer option, both £20 a month. Postage is free and there’s an anytime cancellation policy. You can see on the website what’s going to be in this month’s box, and we were impressed with Dry Drinker’s promise that you’ll never drink the same beer twice, so this is a great way to try new products.

The variety in our box stood out – bottles included a variety of different brands from both UK and Europe (including Mikeller, Nirvana Brewery and Tiny Rebel), with a range of styles covered, such as dark and pale ales, lagers and wheat beer. First orders also come with a drinking glass, and packaging was plastic-free.

At just £20 per month, this is an affordable beer subscription and refreshingly fuss-free. The non-alcoholic drinks market has never been more vibrant but the standard of products can vary hugely, so this is a good way to discover quality new beers delivered direct to your door.
