This classic dessert of strawberries, orange liqueur and cream is stylish enough for you to serve at a summer dinner party, but it is in fact really easy to whip up last minute, taking the stress out of entertaining

Ingredients

  • 250g strawberries, halved
  • ½ orange, juiced and zest cut off in strips
  • Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • 142ml pot whipped to soft peaks with 1 tbsp icing sugar double cream

Method

  • STEP 1

    Put the strawberries in a bowl with the orange juice and a slug of cointreau. Macerate for 15 minutes. Spoon into bowls, sprinkle on the orange zest and divide the cream between them.
