Pont St. Nutella stuffed French toast
It’s World Nutella Day, and to celebrate Sophie Michell from Pont St. in Belgravia has shared this delicious breakfast treat. Nutella, brioche, banana and caramel, what more could you want?
brioche 2 slices
Nutella 2 big tbsp
eggs 2, whisked with a little milk
caramel sauce 100ml with a pinch of sea salt added
banana 6 slices
Sandwich the brioche slices together with Nutella. Tip the egg into a dish and soak the brioche sandwich on both sides for a few minutes.
Heat a frying pan, add a little butter and fry the brioche gently on each side until golden brown and a little puffed up.
Warm up the caramel sauce with the banana. Cut the brioche in half and serve with the caramel bananas and some sauce.
