The Handmade Fair at The Green at Hampton Court Palace will play host to some of the country’s most talented makers, and the olive magazine cookery team are getting involved. Head to the stunning location on 14-16 September 2018 for live demos, fantastic food and beautiful handmade products from the country’s finest artisans.
The Handmade Fair will be hosted by Kirstie Allsopp and will equip you with the skills and tools to become a maker yourself, all in one weekend. New skills to be learnt include upcycling furniture to make your kitchen extra stylish, decorating cakes and learning how to make impressive puddings ahead, or calligraphy and origami skills to create the perfect table setting for your next dinner party.
Janine Ratcliffe, olive magazine’s Food Director, and Adam Bush, olive’s cookery writer, will be in the Hampton Food Theatre each day with live demos and expert tips. More information about the workshops here…

New brunch trends
The olive magazine cookery team have sussed out the hottest new brunch trends from Australia and beyond to bring a hands-on demo balancing healthy recipes with decadent brunch ideas.
Recipes will include our current cover greens and gruyère toastie star, impressive peanut butter drizzle pancakes and vegetarian halloumi breakfast bowls.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 11.15am-12pm
Easy show-off puddings
The olive magazine cookery team will be sharing their favourite stunning but fuss-free puddings for easy entertaining and can be made ahead. Recipes will include our show-stopping espresso martini tiramisu, our modern summery Eton mess cheesecake and indulgent Oreo Baileys fridge cake.
