Sprouts with chorizo and almonds

A delicious festive side dish that will convert even the most adamant Brussels sprouts haters. Sprouts are cooked with chroizo and flaked almonds.



  • brussels sprouts 750g, trimmed
  • garlic 1 clove, crushed
  • sliced chorizo 70g, cut into strips
  • olive oil
  • flaked almonds 3 tbsp, toasted until golden


  • Step 1

    steam the sprouts until just tender, about 5 minutes. fry the garlic and chorizo in 2 tbsp oil for a few minutes until crisp. stir through the sprouts then put in a warm dish and sprinkle with the almonds.
