Ginger garlic beef with sesame greens

  • sunflower oil
  • sirloin steak 1 large, trimmed of all fat and thinly sliced
  • root ginger a thumb-sized piece, finely grated
  • garlic 1 clove crushed
  • spring onions 4, sliced
  • soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • pak choi (bok choi) 2, quartered
  • mangetout 50g
  • sesame oi l 1 tsp


  • Step 1

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large non-stick wok or frying pan. Add the beef and brown quickly.

    Add the ginger, garlic and spring onions and cook for 2 minutes, then add the soy. Steam the pak choi and mangetout until tender then toss with the sesame oil. Serve with the beef.
