olive magazine chef awards 2018 – rules

Who runs the olive magazine Chef Awards?

Immediate Media Company London Limited (Vineyard House, 44 Brook Green, London, W6 7BT) is the promoter of the olive magazine Chef Awards.

How will the winning chefs be chosen?

Nominations will be formed into a shortlist based on the number of nominations, fit for the category, and the expert opinion and experience of the olive magazine team. The shortlist will be announced in full at olivemagazine.com in June 2018.

Each shortlisted chef will then be visited by one of the expert judges from our independent panel – Laura Rowe, Mark Taylor, Felicity Cloake and Clerkenwell Boy – who will try the chef’s food and discover their unique story.

The winning chefs will be chosen by the judges, to be awarded the olive magazine Chef Awards in the categories stated on our website.

How do I nominate someone (including myself)?

Click here. Here you will find the awards page, where each category is listed with a nominate button. Click on the button, choose the category from the drop-down list, write the name of the chef and business name you wish to nominate for this category and, if you would like, a reason why.

All UK-based chefs aged 18 years or older are eligible for nomination, except employees or contractors of Immediate Media or Dark Horse Wine, anyone connected with the promotion (such as the judges), and direct family members of these people.  You can choose to nominate yourself and/or someone else.

The closing date for nominations is 11:59pm on 18 June 2018.  Nominations received after this date will not be considered.

By submitting a nomination, you agree that you’ve read these rules and will follow them.

Immediate Media will use participants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy (www.immediatemedia.co.uk/privacy-policy).
