Kitchen tables are so much more than furniture – they’re the hub at the heart of family life, a place to eat, swap stories and create memories. That’s why it’s important to get little ones right in the centre of the action

For mum-of-four and parenting blogger Clemmie Hooper, the kitchen table is the heart of the home.

“Everything seems to happen around our table,” she says. “Of course we use it to eat all our meals, but it’s more than that – it gives us precious time together in our really crazy busy life.

“When we sit around the table we become a little family unit; we linger over discussions and make decisions. We chat about our days – at school, clubs, work and home. Our younger twin girls are only nine months old but they listen wide-eyed, avidly to the excited voices and chatter – soaking it all up as their Stokke® chairs nestle them right up to our level.”

Stokke chairs
For Clemmie’s family those Stokke chairs are really important, because they allow her two young girls to feel that they’re part of the action. Unlike other baby chairs, Stokke’s Tripp Trapp® is designed to fit right up to the table and bring your little one into the heart of the family, letting him or her develop and learn alongside you.

Each chair is ergonomically designed to allow freedom of movement, with height and depth adjustable seats and footplates, and is available in a variety of colours and with cushion accessories. And because it’s so adjustable, you’re baby will be able to use it all the way from birth to toddler.

A proud history

The Norwegian manufacturer first launched the iconic Tripp Trapp design in 1972. Now, almost 45 years on, Stokke is celebrating the sale of the 10 millionth Tripp Trapp chair by giving you the chance to win one for your own family.
