Video: how to make Nutella-stuffed french toast

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- a good splash double cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp golden caster sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
- 4 thick slices white bloomer
- 4 tbsp Nutella
- butter
- a couple of good pinches cinnamon
Method
- STEP 1
Put the eggs in a shallow bowl. Add the cream, vanilla and sugar and whisk.
- STEP 2
Spread 2 slices of bread with the Nutella then make sandwiches with the other slices. Dip the sandwiches in the egg mix, turning over a few times so the bread gets soaked in the mix.
- STEP 3
Heat a frying pan and add a large knob of butter. Fry the sandwiches for a few minutes each side until crisp and golden. Mix a little more sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over before eating.
