Sophie Cumber specialises in nose-to-tail butchery, so meat boxes, including a rare-breed Lincoln Red cattle box, offer a wide variety of cuts. Estonian Katya and Moscow-born Karina missed home comforts when they moved to the UK and started a supper club in 2012 to showcase food from the 'New East'. When the lockdown came, the girls quickly set up an online shop with deliveries across London. Weekly changing menus include homemade pelmeni (Siberian dumplins), pumpkin and caramelised onion caviar, borsch pie (an innovative take on the classic soup) boozy chocolate kartoshka truffles and many Georgian-inspired recipes from Karina’s grandma, such as walnut and cardamom pastries. Scott James launched this artisan coffee roasters to breathe life back into his hometown of Ammanford in Carmarthenshire and help support the area’s local mining families. On the Pass is a website set up by Philip Warren Butchers and Matt Chatfield (The Cornwall Project) in the South West, which allows home cooks to get their mitts on the top-drawer meat that’s been reared and aged for some of the country’s finest restaurants. Hole Farm Food Hub – for South-West produce (Devon delivery)
Ben’s Farm Shop has been running for more than three decades in the South West and now has several shops and a restaurant to its name.
