Alexina's new weekly video series, 'One Good Thing', includes a handy hack to elevate your entertaining in one simple step. She will bring the tip to life in an easy recipe for you to recreate at home – think the one thing to evaluate every chocolate dessert, the underrated technique that'll make you feel like a French chef and the one treatment all berries deserve.

We’ll be supporting our new resident by giving Alexina access to our test kitchen as she develops new recipes as well as joining our expertise to evolve new ideas together.

Alexina Anatole is a chef, writer and supper club host based in London, known for her deeply thoughtful, flavour-first approach to cooking. After reaching the final of MasterChef in 2021, she made the leap from the trading floor into food full-time, quickly establishing herself as one of the most exciting and distinctive voices in the UK food scene. Driven by curiosity and a genuine obsession with flavour, Alexina’s content goes beyond recipes. She dives deep into ingredients, unexpected flavour pairings and clever cooking techniques, sharing ingenious time-saving and money-saving ideas without ever compromising on quality or style. Her approach feels elevated yet accessible: thoughtful food for real life, with flavour always at the centre. Her acclaimed cookbooks, Bitter and Sweet, published by Penguin Books, have earned praise from the likes of Nigella Lawson, Waterstones and Rukmini Iyer. Meanwhile, her Substack newsletter, Small Wins, is packed with smart, practical ways to cook more confidently and creatively every day.

Alexina has appeared on shows including Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch and The Food Programme, and regularly returns to guest judge on MasterChef. Alongside television and writing, she hosts sought-after supper clubs and creative food experiences, including Cocoa POP. Alexina’s cooking is shaped by a rich mix of cultures and experiences. The granddaughter of chicken farmers from Cambridgeshire and Saint Lucian grandparents who arrived in London during the Windrush generation, she grew up in Paris and has travelled extensively, influences that shine through in her eclectic, vibrant and deeply personal approach to food.
