Coffee Advent calendars are an opportunity to explore coffee beans from around the world, seasonal Christmas flavours and count down to the Big Day with a cup of something you, your friend or family member loves. It's a great way to fuel you through the festive season.

We tested a range of coffee Advent calendars at different price points from favourite coffee brands, such as Grind and Pact, to bring you our picks of the best coffee Advent calendars to buy in 2026. From quirky flavoured pods to gourmet ground coffee from around the world, these are great as a festive treat for yourself or a gift for the coffee fanatic in your life. Rise coffee countdown Advent calendar

The Rise coffee calendar is a popular choice every year, and makes a great return for 2026. It's also one of the few that hasn't gone up in price this year, which we appreciated. The simple design is bold and colourful, in a similar style to previous years, and plastic-free.

An impressive pick for variety, this ground coffee calendar features 24 different coffees from around the world, meaning there are no repeats all month long. There's enough coffee each day for two smaller cups, and the ground version contains medium-ground coffee that would work for cafetière, Aeropress, filter and moka pot methods. This year, there's also a whole bean coffee option, if you prefer. There's not much information in the calendar itself – instead, scan the QR code each day to learn more about that day's cup, with beans from Ethiopia, Brazil and much more. The speciality coffee is all ethically sourced, and 1 per cent of all sales go back to coffee-growing communities.

Pact Coffee Advent calendar

There are no traditional doors to open here – this is a box packed with top-quality coffee to explore all month long instead. As soon as we opened the delivery, the delicious smell of fresh coffee wafted from the box. We lifted open the lid of the smart box (in tiled red for the ground coffee edition, or equally festive green for the whole bean option) to find 25 numbered sachets, each containing 18g of coffee. If you've had this calendar in previous years, you'll be pleased to know that the coffees included are all new this year – and the price is even slightly lower.

The ground coffee is suitable for cafetière, Aeropress, V60 and drip-brewing methods, while the whole bean option is perfect for those who want to grind it fresh every day. We were impressed by the range of coffees – with no repeats, you can try limited editions and unique flavour profiles.

Grind Advent coffee pod calendar

We're already fans of the Grind coffee machine and have tested out its pods, so we were thrilled to see its Advent calendar return again for 2026. We love the design this year – a double-door style that looks like a festive general store inside, designed by illustrator Lottie Alexandra. A fun one to have on the mantelpiece all month long.

Behind the doors are 26 compostable Nespresso-compatible pods in 17 different flavours – a slight increase on last year's 16 options. As well as Grind's core blends, expect interesting flavoured coffees, such as caramel, hazelnut, Baileys, honey nut and pumpkin spice. Spoiler alert: on Christmas Day, you'll find two pods behind the door (in the appropriate Christmas blend) so you can share your morning brew.

If you love Grind but don't have a pod machine, it's once again offering a whole bean or ground coffee advent calendar, so every coffee fan is covered.

Yawn Brew coffee advent calendar

There are options galore when it come to the Yawn Brew coffee advent calendar this year. It has three different styles – a pro, ultimate (which comes with a coffee cup) or dark variety (which contains medium-to-dark roast coffees, ideal for strong espressos). Plus, you can choose the style of coffee within your calendar to suit your preferred method of brew, from beans and cafetière coffee, to clever coffee drip bags.

Each door of the calendar contains 18g of coffee, enough for a double espresso or two cups of coffee. There is an impressive global range of coffees to try, including brews from Ethiopia, Colombia, Costa Rica and Rwanda. Yawn also prides itself on the freshness of the coffee in your calendar, hand-roasting and packing the calendars as late as possible for the best taste all December.
