Looking for a relaxing coastal escape to finish your summer in style? The Holiday Property Bond is offering one lucky winner a chance to enjoy a truly special stay at HPB St Brides Castle. Today, St Brides Castle is home to 51 elegant holiday apartments, studios and cottages, following a restoration that earned HPB a Prince of Wales Award for Architecture. The castle has a wide range of leisure facilities – from tennis courts and a croquet lawn to a bowling green and pitch and putt course.

There’s also a recreation centre with a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, as well as indoor games, including table tennis, pool and snooker. Elsewhere, you’ll find a barbecue area and Dylan’s Bistro, the on-site restaurant.

If you want to explore the local area, the bustling town of Haverfordwest offers shops, restaurants and a popular farmers’ market. Alternatively, you can unwind on one of Pembrokeshire’s 52 pristine beaches or walk its Coast Path.

St Brides Castle is part of HPB’s exclusive portfolio of more than 1,500 properties across 34 stunning locations in the UK and Europe. Find out more and request a free HPB brochure at hpb.co.uk/olive

Prize details

The winner will enjoy an exclusive three-night stay in a ground-floor apartment at HPB St Brides Castle, arriving Friday 26 September 2025 and departing Monday 29 September 2025 (these dates are fixed and cannot be changed). This unique experience is typically only available to HPB Bondholders and is valued at £330.

Beaumaris is a one-bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of the castle. Ideal for couples, friends or family, it sleeps four people – two in a twin room and two on Z-beds, which can be linked. The apartment also features an en-suite shower room, a separate bathroom and an open-plan living area with views over the surrounding woodland.

There are no age restrictions, but any children under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. There are no additional charges for using the on-site facilities, except at Dylan’s Bistro, where food and drink is charged separately.

Please note, travel to and from St Brides Castle is not included.

How to enter

To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the question below correctly by 23:59 on 25 July 2025. The winner will be notified, and the prize arranged for delivery after this date.

Please read our competition rules before you enter. Entrants must be UK residents, aged 18 or over. Promoter: Immediate Media Company London Limited (company no. 06189487).

Exclusive holidays for life: An initial payment from £5000 and a quarterly fee of under £38 (that is around £150 a year), which can increase in line with but not exceed the Retail Price Index Excluding Mortgage Interest (RPIX), gives you access to all HPB’s holiday homes. For each HPB holiday, you will pay a no-profit user charge covering only property running and maintenance costs and use of on-site facilities. The average charge is the same throughout the year, and for a studio is around £372 a week and £569 for a two bedroom property. Larger properties are also available. After an initial charge of 25% your money is invested in a fund of holiday properties and securities. The fund itself meets annual charges of 2.5% of its net assets at cost, calculated monthly. Your investment return is purely in the form of holidays and, as with most investments, your capital is at risk. You can surrender your investment to the company after two years or more (subject to deferral in exceptional circumstances) but you will get back less than you invested because of the charges referred to above, as well as other overheads and changes in the value of the fund’s properties and securities.
