  • onion 1 small, finely sliced
  • garlic 2 cloves, crushed
  • kale 75g, thick stalks discarded
  • plain flour for dusting
  • mascarpone 2 tbsp
  • taleggio 100g, sliced
  • salami 1 pack (about 90g)

Method

  • Step 1

Make up the ciabatta bread mix following pack instructions, adding 1/2 tbsp olive oil and ½ tsp salt. Cover and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes.

  • Step 2

Meanwhile, fry the onion and garlic gently in 1 tbsp oil. Roughly chop the kale, then stir into the onion with a splash of water and cook until the kale is wilted and the water has evaporated.

  • Step 3

Heat the oven to 220C/fan 200C/gas 7. Roll the dough out on a floured surface. Lift onto a baking sheet dusted with a little flour. Spread the mascarpone over the dough.

  • Step 4

Spoon over the kale mixture, then scatter with the taleggio and finish with the salami. Season and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pizza base is crisp.
