Ingredients

  • 3 thin slices sourdough bread
  • butter
  • 3 slices cooked ham
  • 100g cheddar, grated
  • 1 tbsp double cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Method

  • STEP 1

    Toast the bread and butter it lightly. Arrange the ham on the bread, trimming it to fit. Mix the cheese with the cream and mustard and spread over the ham.

  • STEP 2

    Trim off the crusts and cut each slice into 4. Grill on a baking tray until the cheese is bubbling and browned.
