A note from our editor, Laura Rowe
olive magazine is offering readers the opportunity to discover Raymond Blanc’s celebrated Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
Spend a gastronomic day at Raymond’s cherished 15th-century manor house with the olive magazine team and lose yourself in the luxurious venue located in the heart of rural Oxfordshire.
You will be welcomed with tea, coffee and freshly baked biscuits, before taking your place in The Raymond Blanc Cookery School. Here
the team will reveal cooking techniques that Raymond has perfected to create his extensive repertoire: from Michelin-star cuisine to classic French dishes that he learned as a child from Maman Blanc.
Enjoy an expert demonstration of classic cocktail-making with fresh seasonal twists. Then, sip champagne before you and the olive magazine team have a delicious three-course seasonal lunch with matching wines. After coffee and petits fours, wrap up and stroll round the patchwork of gardens, including a two-acre kitchen garden, that surround the house.
